  • 2017 - in progress: Ph.D. candidate in Islamic Archaeology at the Bonn International Graduate School – Oriental and Asian Studies, University of Bonn (Supervisor: Pro. Dr. Bethany J. Walker).
  • 2016 (Academic Year 2014-2015): MA degree in Medieval Archaeology at the University of Florence. Thesis title: Pottery production and distribution in crusader-ayyubid southern Transjordan (cc. 12 - 13): the stratigraphic observatory of Shawbak, with 110/110 cum laude . 
  • 2012: Course EU ESF "Public archaeology expert for the promotion and the management of archaeological resources" (300 hours): University of Florence in collaboration with Regione Toscana, Provincia di Grosseto, org. Coop Heimat.

  • Stratigraphic excavation on the medieval site of Shawbak, Maan, Jordan, within the research project Petra „medieval‟ archeologia degli insediamenti di età crociato-ayyubide in Transgiordania. Period: Oct-Nov 2012-2013; Oct-Nov 2015-2019. Role: POTTERY and FIELD SUPERVISOR. (Project director: Prof. Guido Vannini, University of Florence).
  • Stratigraphic excavation on the medieval site of Till Hisban, Madaba, Jordan. Period: June-July 2018 Role: SQUARE SUPERVISOR. (Project directors: Prof. Dr. Osteyn La Bianca, St. Andrews University; Prof. Dr. Bethany J. Walker, University of Bonn).
  • Stratigraphic excavation on the medieval site of Khirbet Beit Mazmīl, Jerusalem, Israel, within the research project Medieval Jerusalem Hinterland Project. Period: March 2019.
